About Us

We opened our doors to the public on Monday 17th May 2010 after many months of preparation.

We are a family run business and consist of myself, my wife and our friend Lou who works part time.

Our aim for the cafe is for it to be a place where all employees and visitors of Fairways House to have a place to enjoy their lunch and open the possibility to meet new people and of course have some lunch or a snack.

This concept led us to the name "Take 5 @ The Hub"

The Hub is open to all but most importantly it is there to provide a place that is completely the opposite to where people work, hence the bright colours, TV and sofa.

We hope that over time "The Hub" will truly live up to its name and become a place for all people working and visiting Fairways House to enjoy and relax, even if it is only for their break.
